On the 21st of October, project partner, Maastricht University’s Juan Palacios presented the methodology and main findings of the regression analysis part of the REVALUE project at the Real Estate Valuation Symposium in Washington DC. The conference gathered a total of 50 people, including representatives of academia and industry. The industry partners include mortgage lenders (e.g. Fannie Mae), valuation industry (The Appraisal Foundation) and policymakers (e.g. US Federal Housing Agency).
The conference included 15 innovative research papers focused on the valuation of residential real estate properties in both the US and Europe.
