To develop international guidance for property appraisers, incorporating the collection and easy analysis of transparent energy data, the REVALUE project works with housing providers across Europe in identifying the relevant background information and evidence on the assumptions that valuers need to make. One of the partners in the United Kingdom is the social housing provider OneManchester. Late September, the REVALUE team will meet leadership team for asset management and sustainability to discuss data and trends.
The objectives of the meeting are to find advanced qualitative evidence to improve understanding of the relationship between energy efficiency and value beyond the energy label alone. It aims to provide advanced understanding of market trends and key stakeholders’ positions, and to assess the type of information that will enable more sophisticated assessments of energy efficiency in relation to property appraisals.
Launched in 2015 when Eastlands Homes and City South Manchester Housing Trust joined together in partnership, One Manchester manages over 12,500 dwellings across south and east Manchester as a social business.
